About SJR
SJR is a private, Roman Catholic, boys, college preparatory school on a 33 acre campus in suburban Montvale, New Jersey.

The school motto is "Vir Fidelis", Latin for "The Faithful Man".

St. Joseph is owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Newark.

St. Joseph was founded in 1962 by the Brothers of Saint Francis Xavier (the Xaverian Brothers).

St. Joseph Regional High School accepts students for success. Academically qualified students regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin or religious affiliation are welcome to join the St. Joseph Family.

St. Joseph offers a college preparatory curriculum including Honors and Advanced Placement courses. We also offer college credit courses through a partnership with St. Peter�s College.

The Christian Service Program actively supports the school and the surrounding community through its various ministries and services.

Above all else, the values of respect for self, respect for others and respect for property are stressed.

We are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and boast a 100% college acceptance rate.

St. Joseph offers a wide variety of academic, athletic and social activities. Many students have found St. Joseph to be their school of choice when making a secondary education decision.
