College Reps Visits to SJR

 Juniors and Seniors should take advantage of this excellent opportunity to obtain up-to-date information and materials regarding the various colleges.  College Admissions’ Officers conduct small group sessions either in-person or virtually.

 
Before the Visit
  1. Do your homework, i.e. read a general description of the school on College Board to ensure that you are a serious candidate and that the school offers the program(s) in which you are interested.
  2. Sign up on-line through Naviance.  Go to Family Connection.  Click on "COLLEGES".  On Right-hand side of the page, click on ’View all upcoming college visits.'  Please sign up at least two days in advance.
In person visits will be held in the Guidance Office between 8:55 am and 1:20 pm, Monday through Thursday.
The virtual visits will be scheduled between 2 pm and 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday.  On the day of the visit, you will receive an email with the URL link to join the virtual meeting.
