“It is best to serve…” At Saint Joseph Regional High School, an essential component of the growth of the “Faithful Man” is embracing the Catholic mission of social justice. Each month, student volunteers lead drives that make a major impact on groups and individuals in need.
In the past several years, Saint Joe’s has partnered with the groups including:- Toys for Tots
- DVDs for Veterans
- The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- The Bergen Record Food Drive
- The Center for Food Action
- The Archdiocese of Newark
- Marble Jam Kids
- Gift of Life International
- The New Jersey Veterans’ Home at Paramus, NJ
- The Office of Saint Concern at Saint Cecilia’s Parish in Englewood, NJ

Additionally, Saint Joe's students have been learning the value of hard work in leading renovation efforts at Saint Peter's School in Belleville, NJ through the SJR “Adopt-a-School“ program. The “Adopt-a-School“ program was launched to assist Saint Peter's with needed building renovations including the sanding, spackling, repainting and recarpeting of the main office, music room and hallways. Through the efforts of the SJR students, the younger students will begin the 2011-2012 school year in bright, refreshed facilities.
Additional grammar schools seeking the coordinated help of SJR volunteers are invited to contact Campus Ministry Director Deacon Joseph Sisco at siscoj@saintjosehregional.org.
