Freshman Applicants

Join the St. Joseph Regional High School Community

We welcome prospective students, both incoming freshmen (Class of '29) and transfer students (rolling admissions), to apply for a transformative educational experience at St. Joseph Regional High School.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are accepted from qualified students for grades 9, 10, or 11.

Steps to Apply

1. Complete the Application

  • Parents/Guardians: Fill out the application online.
    • Create a parent portal account using the Parent/Guardian email (not the student email).
    • Bookmark the portal and save your login credentials for future access.
  • Student Essay: This section should be completed by the prospective student.
  • Applications for incoming freshmen open September 2024 and must be submitted by December 4, 2024.
  • Applications submitted after December 4, 2024, will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
  • Returning Families: Log in with your existing credentials. For assistance, contact Hillary Barnett at barnetth@sjrnj.org.

2. Submit Required Documents

  • After completing your application, return to the portal to upload:
    • Letter(s) of Recommendation
    • Official Transcript Request
    • Any additional checklist items
  • Important: Incomplete applications will not be processed. All sections, including the student essay, must be completed at the time of submission.

3. Admission Decisions

  • Notifications for the 2025-2026 academic year will be sent via mail and email on January 17, 2025.

Additional Requirements

High School Placement Test (HSPT)

  • Date: November 8, 2024
  • Locations: St. Joseph Regional High School and other testing sites
  • All incoming freshmen are required to take the HSPT.

Financial Aid

  • Priority Application Deadline: December 4, 2024
  • Applications open in late summer/early fall.
  • Apply for Financial Aid
