Does St. Joseph Regional Accept International Students?

Saint Joseph Regional High School welcomes well-qualified international applicants for grades 9, 10, and 11 who have a strong academic record and sufficient English language proficiency to perform well in a challenging college preparatory environment. We ask that any interested international student follow these steps:

Applications are accepted from qualified students for grades 9, 10, or 11.

Steps to Apply

1. Complete the Application

  • Parents/Guardians: Fill out the application online.
    • Create a parent portal account using the Parent/Guardian email (not the student email).
    • Bookmark the portal and save your login credentials for future access.
  • Student Essay: This section should be completed by the prospective student.
  • Incoming international freshman should submit an online Application for St. Joseph Regional High School by December 4, 2024. International transfer students should complete an online application using the above link as soon as possible. 

2. Submit Required Documents

  1. Official Transcripts:
    • Last three years of transcripts (report cards are not accepted).
    • Official course descriptions and most recent grades.
    • Email documents to admissions@sjrnj.org.
  2. Standardized Test Results: TOEFL, CLEP, or SLEP.
  3. Bank Letter: Proof of required funds.
  4. Residency Documents: Valid government paperwork.
  5. Health Records: Immunization records and recent physical exam.

Once all documents are submitted, the Admissions Team will provide next steps.

3. Admission Decisions

  • Notifications for the 2025-2026 academic year will be sent via mail and email on January 10, 2025.
  • Applications received after the December 4, 2024 deadline will be processed on a rolling basis.

International Tuition and Fees:  

Tuition: Tuition for 2025-2026 is $19,200.00 and international students pay the first month's tuition before the student begins classes.

  • Fees: International Student Fee: $2,500; Educational Resource Fee: $300 (includes books, online access to all classroom materials, Chromebook purchase (includes insurance coverage): $600, and Capital Improvement Fee: $350. Participation fees of varying amounts for athletics, performing arts, and extracurricular activities may apply.
  • Tuition assistance in the form of financial aid is not generally available to international students however, merit awards are considered on a case-by-case basis. Typically, resources are committed to assisting local families in financial need.
