Transportation Options for SJR Students
Getting to St. Joseph Regional High School is made simple with a variety of transportation options tailored to meet the needs of our families.
Public School District Transportation
New York Families
- Eligibility: Many New York public school districts provide bus transportation to and from SJR.
- Next Steps: Contact your local public school district's Board of Education for details and to register for this service.
New Jersey Families
- Options:
- Some districts provide direct transportation to SJR.
- Others may offer Aid in Lieu (AIL) payments, typically disbursed twice a year, if bus service is unavailable.
- Requirement: A New Jersey State Transportation Form (B6T) must be completed to qualify for AIL.
- How to Obtain the Form:
- Email Hillary Barnett at barnetth@sjrnj.org to request the form.
- Important: Strict deadlines apply, so act promptly!
SJR Bus Routes
In addition to public school district services, SJR offers private bus routes for a fee.
- Details:
- Routes are finalized each August.
- Registration and payment instructions are sent to families at that time.
- Stops are currently being created for 2025-2026 and will be available soon.
- Stops are subject to change based on demand.
