SJR Welcomes New Faculty/Staff

Saint Joseph Regional is pleased to welcome three new members to its faculty/staff. The additions include a Director of Admissions and two new full-time teachers.
 
Ryan Asselta '94 joins the team as the Director of Admissions and Marketing. He brings more than twenty years in broadcasting, television, digital media and publishing to his new role. As a student, Asselta was a contributor in the basketball, basketball and performing arts programs. Upon graduation, he earned his B.A. in communications from Stonehill College, with a minor in journalism. He currently resides in Ramsey.
 
In the classroom, Stephen Trivino joins the science department, teaching four physics courses along with one section of chemistry. Trivino spent the previous 35 years at James Caldwell High School and currently serves as the head football coach at Glen Ridge High School. He holds a B.S. in biology and an M.A. in education administration and supervision from Montclair State University.
 
Liam Woods '16 returns to SJR in the English department. Woods, whose brothers Kieran '19 (Villanova) and Aidan '22 are also Green Knights, will teach freshman English as well as one section of sophomores. He graduated from the Fairfield University Honors program with a B.A. in Economics and English Literature and Cultural Theory.
