It was the culmination of four years of hard work and sacrifice.

Nine student athletes from St. Joseph Regional took the next step in becoming a college athlete by signing their National Letter of Intent Wednesday morning. The ceremony began with the signees from the baseball program. Jeremy Acosta, Sean Hard, Jimmy Romano, Nick Giannattasio, Albert Serrano, Ryan Myles, and Brendan Lysik were all accompanied by their families for this special day. The list of universities/colleges included; Boston College, SUNY New Paltz, Duke University, Texas Tech University, St. Thomas Aquinas College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, and Wofford College. Coach Cieslak and Coach Colon were in attendance to support these young men in furthering their academic/athletic careers.

The next two student-athletes awaiting to sign were Michael Lavinio and Connor Phillips who are both part of the Lacrosse program at SJR. Coach DaPonte came to support these two young men, as Michael Lavinio signed to Lycoming College and Connor Phillips: Eastern University.

All nine of these student athletes will be looking to make an impact on their teams this upcoming spring. With “Pride, Passion, and Family”  these seniors look to finish their high school athletic careers as Green Knights on top.
