This holiday season the St. Joseph Regional community came together to help families across the country, providing Christmas gifts for those in need.
The Green Knights community is one of many from around the country that helped out the United States Postal Service’s annual event called “Operation Santa''. The event runs around the holiday season and has been going on since 1912, with this year being the 100th anniversary.
Operation Santa is an event where people and communities adopt Christmas lists from families around the country helping fulfill Christmas wishes for thousands of people.
SJR students and their families adopted the lists and provided gifts that the Postal service shipped throughout the United States.
This Christmas season the St. Joseph Regional community fulfilled 51 family wishes across the country, providing gifts and spreading the true meaning of Christmas, not just around Montvale, New Jersey, but the entire country.
