They were greeted by the Admissions Team at Fordham University and given an overview of Fordham and the programs offered. Then they embarked on a tour of the Fordham Campus, which included the various educational buildings, the fieldhouse (where an actual basketball scrimmage was taking place), the dorm rooms, and the historic chapel. At the Gabelli School of Business stop, the students observed the stock market trading room on the ground floor of Hughes Hall. Fordham University has an in-house trading room with 15 Bloomberg terminals that students and faculty can use to monitor the stock market in real time. Upon completion of the campus tour, the students returned to the Admissions Office for a follow up information session and then enjoyed lunch provided by Fordham University. Throughout the day, students were continually reminded of the Jesuit values and traditions that Fordham incorporates into everyday life on campus.
