The tuition for 2020-2021 is $15,600.  Tuition is paid over ten months, beginning in July and ending in April through the FACTS Tuition Management Plan.  Payments are deducted automatically from a checking/savings account over the ten-month period.

All need-based financial aid awards are guaranteed for one school year.  All families must reapply to receive awards in future years.  It is safe to assume that your award will not change so long as family financial circumstances have not changed.

Saint Joseph Regional High School offers academic scholarships to top incoming freshmen. To be eligible for an academic scholarship, the student must have taken the High School Placement Test (HSPT), and have identified St. Joseph Regional as their first choice school. Academic scholarships are awarded in the form of full and partial tuition scholarships.  Students receiving such grants will be notified of their scholarship with their acceptance packet.

All academic scholarships are renewable from year to year, provided the student continues to achieve superior grades and demonstrate exemplary conduct at St. Joseph Regional.

Families that opt to pay the annual tuition in full by July 1st (and who are not receiving any other scholarship or tuition discount) are entitled to a $300 discount.

The following deductions are applicable:

  • Sons of Saint Joseph Alumni will receive a $1000 annual grant.
  • Full-time Catholic elementary school teachers who provide a document verifying that they are under contract for the 2020-2021 school year will receive a $1000 grant for each of their sons attending Saint Joseph’s.
  • There is an automatic $1000 reduction in tuition for each brother of a current student.

Additional scholarship opportunities are available:

  • The Archdiocese of Newark awards educational grants to some students on the basis of extreme financial hardship through the Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children.  Interested students and their parents should go to their website www.sficnj.org for application information.  The deadline for submission is April 30, 2020.
  •  Students who live in Passaic, Morris and Sussex counties, who apply to Saint Joseph Regional High School, may be able to apply for assistance from the Tri-County Scholarship Fund.  This is a third-party, need-based program that offers scholarships to deserving students in need.  For application information, please visit their website www.tcsfund.org.  Please note that applications are due by February 15, 2020.

Saint Joseph Regional High School will administer an additional placement test on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 8:00 am.  The test will provide us with an additional measure of each student’s English, mathematics, and writing skills.  The results of this examination, the Admissions test and eighth grade record will determine class placement for next year.

Some students may be asked to take a three-week course in either English or mathematics or both in order to better prepare them for success once school begins in September.  The summer school program will run from June 29 through July 10.  Additional information about this program will be provided at the May Orientation program.
