SJR Fund

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has directed Catholic educational institutions like SJR to set tuition as low as possible so that more families are able to access a quality Catholic education.

So, like any Catholic school adhering to such instructions, SJR has reached a point in its history where it can no longer sustain the daily operation of the school with tuition revenue alone. In fact, the SJR Fund exists entirely to bridge the 15% gap between the school’s tuition and that which the average family pays toward the total cost of education. The gap is approximately $2,200 per student for a total of $1.1 million this year, and we count on people just like you to close it.
