Media Club

The purpose of the Media Club will be to share insight and knowledge of the Broadcast/Journalism/Social Media industry with interested SJR students. Students will have the opportunity to cover many of the SJR events and provide content for our website, and social media channels as well as the schools marketing campaigns. Students interested in writing, broadcasting, photography, editing and social media are all welcome.

Club Meetings

The club will meet bi-weekly to review recent content. We will discuss best journalistic practices, broadcast technique and editing. We will also go over upcoming assignments so that all important SJR events and athletic games are being covered by the club.

Guest speakers from the media industry will visit on occasion to talk with students and advise them on different media related topics.
