About Me

Bio:

Before coming to SJR, I spent 34 years teaching Religion-Theology and/or History at Sacred Heart School in Manhattan, St. Mary, Star of the Sea School in the Bronx, St. Gregory Barbarigo School in Bardonia, St. Padre Pio Academy in Ridgefield, CT., and St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers. In my 29 years at St. Mary's, in addition to teaching, I spent 5 years as parish DRE and, in my last year, as Acting Principal.

For 33 years, member of the Knights of Columbus and for 8 years President of the Rockland County Catholic Coalition.

I am currently staff historian and contributor to Magnificat Media (online radio).

Fun Fact:

I make a truly "fiery" chili con carne.  My friends assure me that it possibly violates the Geneva Conventions !!!  I call it, "Chili Borgoña." (Can you guess the "secret sauce" ???)
