Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

A Special Opportunity for Seniors

In their senior year, students at St. Joseph Regional High School are invited to serve as Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, also known as Eucharistic Ministers. This sacred ministry allows students to take an active role in the spiritual life of our school community by assisting in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass.

Training and Installation

  • Training:

    • Conducted on campus at the start of the school year.
    • Led by Mr. Joel Peters, Theology Chair.

  • Installation:

    • Students who complete the training will be officially installed as Eucharistic Ministers during the Mass of the Holy Spirit, marking the beginning of the academic year.

This ministry is a profound way for seniors to deepen their faith, serve their community, and embody the spirit of the Vir Fidelis—the Faithful Man. For more information, contact the Theology Department.
