Steve Roberts Named Assistant Principal

Saint Joseph Regional High School Principal Michael Bruno '05 announced the hire of Mr. Stephen Roberts as the new Assistant Principal of Student Affairs.

"I am excited that Mr. Roberts has joined the SJR team. His prior managerial experience enhances his ability to work with parents and students alike," said Bruno.

Roberts received his B.A. in History from Rutgers University. He is currently pursuing his M.A. in Educational Leadership at St. Peter's University. He joined Academy of Our Lady in 2007 as a 4th grade teacher. He has also taught 5th through 8th grade Social Studies as well as homeroom subjects for 5th and 8th grade. In November 2014 he was appointed Vice Principal of the school.

He began his career in sales before working for a number of years in the aviation industry.  He also served in the United States Marine Corps.

Roberts, his wife, Theresa, and their 4 daughters are active members of St. Catharine Church parish in Glen Rock. They enjoy many sports including running and skiing.
