Student of the Week: Julian Rondon '23

Sometimes the reason to help others is simple. As Julian Rondon '23 states, "it makes me feel good."

The Bardonia native was recognized by Mr. Trivino for consistently helping out classmates in forensics and physics who may be stuck on a problem or issue. Rondon is happy to assist, part of the brotherhood, part of the team.

Plus, as Mr. Trivino added, "Anyone who puts up with me twice a day deserves some kind of recognition."

A pitcher/outfielder on the 2021 Triple Crown state champion baseball team, Rondon earned Principal's List honors last marking period and is on pace to make the Honor Roll once again in the fall.

While he enjoys U.S. History II with Mr. Gilroy this year, he cited Mr. Aguero, who he had last year for Spanish, as his favorite SJR teacher. Rondon is also taking his first venture into Advanced Placement with AP Government this year.

Nominated by Mr. Steve Trivino.
