SJR is set to install more than $250,000 worth of technology upgrades and new SMART Boards for the 2022-2023 school year. The SMART Board 6000S interactive screens were purchased through a grant earned by Principal Michael Bruno ‘05 and Director of Technology Jim Ciancia.
All of the new technology will arrive and be installed before the end of September.
"This is one of the most exciting improvements made to SJR this summer," explained Bruno. "Streamlining our educational technology with state-of-the-art SmartBoards will have a significant positive effect on both students and teachers. Teachers will now have the most innovative tools to help them turn lessons into more than lectures, and our students will likewise be impacted through a tool best designed to maximize engagement in daily lessons."
