Charles Wicker '23 leaves SJR with quite the resume. The Towaco resident is the salutatorian who earned Principal's List status in every single marking period as a Green Knight.
He is off to the University of Alabama's Honor College to study pre-med in the hopes of becoming a neurologist in the future.
Wicker is also the senior class president, a member of the SJR football and lacrosse teams and a writer for The Guardian newspaper. He also manages the Class of 2023 Instagram account, highlighting his classmates' college choices.
The senior is a serious chess player and once bested a Top 100 player in the world in an exhibition game on chess.com.
