Henry, Brennan Join SJR Board

Saint Joseph Regional High School is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Theresa Henry P '20, '23 and Kerrie Brennan P '20, '23 as they join the distinguished Board of Consultants. With their impressive backgrounds and dedication to education, Henry and Brennan bring invaluable expertise that will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of our school.
 
Theresa Henry, an Associate Professor at Seton Hall University, brings a wealth of knowledge in the field of financial reporting and disclosure. She holds a B.S. in accounting and an MBA in finance from Manhattan College. She earned her Ph.D. from NYU. As a CPA in New Jersey, Henry has garnered experience in both public and private practice.
 
Beyond her professional achievements, Henry is deeply engaged in her community. She serves as a trustee and Eucharistic Minister at St. John the Baptist Church and volunteers her time to support various initiatives at St. John's Academy in Hillsdale. Additionally, she takes on a leadership role as an adult leader of Boy Scout Troop 109, embodying the spirit of service and mentorship.
 
Her husband Patrick '86 and sons Declan '20 (Providence College) and Fintan '23 (Xavier University) all graduated from SJR.
 
Joining Henry on the Board is Kerrie Brennan, who brings a diverse range of experiences in education and athletics. Mrs. Brennan attended IHA, where she was a member of the Bergen Jamboree Champion basketball team. She then pursued her B.S. in education, graduating cum laude from Manhattan College.
 
Brennan earned an M.S., graduating magna cum laude from LIU while working full time. Her commitment to teaching led her to the prestigious Horace Mann School in Riverdale, where she taught while coaching basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, and soccer. Brennan also taught at T. Baldwin Demarest School in Old Tappan.
 
Brennan has actively participated in the St. Joseph School community, serving as Parent Guild Co-President for the past three years. 
 
Like Henry, Brennan's ties to SJR run deep. Her husband Brian '93 and their sons, Brian '20 and Dan '23 are all proud graduates. She also has four brothers-in-law and five nephews who have attended SJR.
 
John Asselta, William Brown ‘78 and John Fogarty ‘81 concluded their term on the Board in June of 2023. They were recognized for their commitment to the mission of SJR and for their exemplary service by current Board Chair Dan Kelly ‘87 and President Bob Fazio.
