Saint Joseph Regional High School is delighted to announce the appointment of Patrick Kivlehan, a distinguished alumnus from the Class of 2008, as the new Director of Student Affairs. Mr. Kivlehan brings a wealth of experience and a remarkable journey as a former professional baseball player, showcasing exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kivlehan displayed not only his athletic talents but also his interpersonal skills, charisma, and unyielding drive to motivate others towards achieving their goals. His experiences encompass a diverse range of achievements, including representing Team USA at the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games in 2021, where he earned a Silver Medal. Mr. Kivlehan also made notable contributions to esteemed baseball organizations such as Nippon Professional Baseball's Yakult Swallows in Tokyo, Japan, as well as the MLB teams Chicago White Sox, San Diego Padres, Toronto Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners, and Texas Rangers.
After graduating SJR where he played four years of football and one year of baseball, Patrick Kivlehan continued to excel academically, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communications & Labor Studies from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. His educational background complements his leadership abilities, making him an ideal candidate to guide and inspire the students of Saint Joseph Regional High School.
