Dylan Gutowski '25 represented SJR with pride this summer at the Stockton University Entrepreneurship and Business Academy. He was one of only 12 other incoming juniors/seniors from across the nation to be part of the college's program.
The young entrepreneurs stayed in the new dorms along the Atlantic City boardwalk and enjoyed a program with dozens of presentations on various topics from business ethics to intellectual property and public speaking. The group enjoyed several field trips and off-site activities as well.
The week culminated in a competition where the students pitched their business plan in front of a panel of judges composed of university staff and local business executives. Gutowski, a Donnelly Scholar, was elected CEO of his team, which won the Shark Tank style competition and $500 cash prize!
