On November 8th 2023 It was National Signing day across the USA. This event is where senior athletes from all over the country commit to the college they will attend over the next 4 years. Saint Joseph Regional High school had 9 athletes sign their national letters of intent today.

First off was the Baseball team. The First Commit was Gabriel Alvarez who committed to Longwood University. Following him was all county baseball player Tommy Manzo who signed to to play for Seton Hall University.T he last baseball player to sign was SJR Baseball Captain Zach Worthington going to Clarkson University.

Up next were members of the State Championship wrestling team, which had 2 athletes who committed to Division 1 Colleges. Aiden Schlett committed to The University of North Carolina while Frank DiBella committed to Virginia Tech University. Schlett is two time all county and all state wrestler and DiBella is a two time time all county wrestler. Pretty Impressive stuff from these two athletes.

Last But not least was the SJR Lacrosse team which had four players that signed today. Tommy Brennan, who is the Executive President of the SJR Student Council, committed to Siena College. Next up was All state Lacrosse player Ryan Cunningham who committed to Wagner College. Brain Tarleton  committed to Saint Michael's College and SJR Lacrosse and Football player Christopher Wehri committed to Saint Johns Fisher College.

I'd say this year's SJR National signing day was a success and had some awesome athletes sign with some great schools. We wish them luck over the remainder high school careers and in college.
