St. Joseph Regional High School Announces Coach Dan Marangi Stepping Down as Head Football Coach
Montvale, NJ — November 17, 2023 — St. Joseph Regional High School announces a significant shift in leadership within its football program with the departure of Dan Marangi as the Head Football Coach. Coach Marangi has decided to step down, marking the end of an era and paving the way for a new chapter of success and growth. “After much self reflection and time spent with family, I have decided to step down as the head football coach to spend more time with my wife and beautiful children,” said Dan Marangi on his decision.
Coach Marangi's contributions to the football program have left an enduring impact, and the school expresses profound gratitude for his unwavering commitment over the years. “I am so proud of the kids - the way they conduct themselves, the way they push themselves, and their drive to succeed at the next level. I am most proud of the men they have become,” reflected Marangi.
“We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition. While we are grateful for all of Coach Marangi’s service to our student-athletes, this is a crucial step towards ensuring the future success of the program,” said Athletic Director Reginald Sainte-Rose ’92.
To navigate this transition, the school has formed a dedicated committee entrusted with the thorough vetting and interviewing of potential candidates for the position of head coach. The committee's objective is to identify a qualified and passionate individual who aligns with the vision and values of the football program.
